Who you are

You will be a qualified finance professional, and will likely have experience of financial accounting and reporting from working in a group financial reporting environment and/or from corporate audit
Looking for better ways of doing things and proactively taking ownership to see things through

Acting as a senior member of the group’s financial reporting team
Building great relationships with colleagues across the group’s businesses and territories

What the job involves

As a senior member of the Group Financial Reporting team, you’ll oversee the production of the group’s consolidated financial results and deliver high quality financial information to internal audiences and our parent company, Comcast
You’ll also drive standardisation across the territories, through work with finance teams across the business to analyse and understand our financial accounting and reporting processes
Planning, overseeing and reviewing the production of the monthly consolidated financial information
Analysis and validation of financial reporting across all of Sky’s territories
Preparing and reviewing reporting for internal audiences and for our US parent company
Communicating regularly with local finance teams to deal with any queries and ensure that results can be produced accurately and on time
Leading the integrity of the group consolidation process through close liaison with finance teams across the group
Liaising with the GAAP accounting team to ensure that new products, contracts and complex transactions are accounted for correctly and in accordance with GAAP
Preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly submissions / disclosures for internal audiences and for our US parent company
Liaising with colleagues at Comcast to prepare and review external reporting materials
Compliance with internal governance and controls, ensuring key controls are operating effectively
Improvement of the financial reporting process through standardisation of reporting processes by the territories
Looking for opportunities to standardise and improve reporting processes through systems and automation
Managing a team of Finance Analysts / Senior Finance Analysts
