Who you are
- Sales Management experience, including at least 2 years leading a successful, high-growth, SAAS sales team within an enterprise software company; understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models
- Experience of working with/selling to Property Managers (STR, multi-family, student housing) preferred
- Experience working very closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Support teams
- Demonstrated experience in scaling a team in a fast-growth tech start-up
- An enthusiastic leader with the skills to attract talent, build teams, and inspire as well as teach others
- Strong empathy for customers and a passion for revenue and growth
Desirable
- Spanish language skills (not essential)
What the job involves
- We are looking for a US-based Sales Manager (Americas) to join us to continue to develop and expand our business across the US, Canada, and South and Central America
- In this role, you will play a vital part in leading and building out a team of SAAS Account Executives, establishing strong relationships with our clients, understanding their needs, and working closely with internal teams to exceed their expectations
- This is a 1099 contract role
- Drive Sales to ensure monthly and quarterly targets are achieved
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the performance of a team of Account Executives, providing guidance, support, training, and impactful feedback on performance to ensure they meet and exceed their sales targets
- Take ownership of the client engagement and sales process, effectively converting inbound and outbound leads with responsiveness and proactively building the Americas sales pipeline
- Pipeline Management: Oversee the sales pipeline, utilizing CRM tools and data analysis to identify trends, forecast accurately, and make data-driven decisions to drive growth
- Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders to facilitate long-term business growth and market expansion
- Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to adapt sales strategies accordingly and identify new opportunities
Our take
With the increase in popularity of short-term rentals, the line between privacy of renters and security for owners has become an increasingly pressing problem. Nobody wants to take a holiday and face cameras and security that undermine trust, but owners want to be able to monitor their properties.
Minut remedies this problem through its IoT hardware. Its sensor monitors noise, occupancy, motion and even temperature, without requiring invasive cameras or recording devices. Pitching itself as a co-host for property owners, the small device analyses and delivers near-real-time information, sending alerts if the space is over-occupied or being mistreated.
It’s a savvy solution for a world where privacy is a hot topic. Investors think so too, with the company raising funding in both 2022 and 2023. Minut is using this investment to expand its presence globally and integrate new solutions through partnerships within the hospitality sector.
