Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
- No less than 3+ years of production experience in delivering enterprise software applications web and/or mobile using common web and mobile technologies using REACT NATIVE
- Experience or knowledge of the Apple iOS and MacOS development stack (Xcode, Swift/Objective-C) or Google Android development stack (Android Studio, Layout Editor, Kotlin/Java)
- Experience or knowledge of client/server RESTful and MVC/MVVM architectural patterns prevalent in mobile and web app development
- Experience or knowledge of version-control systems, e.g Git / Github and Experience in Agile methodologies
- Understanding and appreciation of database architecture and SQL databases that power enterprise application
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to investigate and assess complex systems to propose technical solutions
- Must have good communication and reporting skills, value a data driven environment where personal responsibility for work is celebrated and rewarded
- Customer service skills with the ability to anticipate needs and exercise independent judgment
- Strong collaborative work-ethic with self-awareness around shared product goals and supporting co-workers towards team success
- Proven adaptability, organization and time management skills, priority-setting, and troubleshooting, especially when responding to the shifting demands of a start up
- Ability to work both independently and within a team

- The Mobile App Developer at Ludex will help in the development of our mobile platform, designing features for both iPhone and Android, while collaborating with cross functional teams
- We are building a product that is truly game changing and we are looking for passionate, hardworking, innovative people to be a part of the mission and vision we all share
- Responsible for the development, technical architecture, and API integration related to building features on a mobile application
- Responsible for the development, architecture, engineering, maintenance, and technical support of our mobile app
- Creates optimal technical designs adhering to architectural best practices; considers scalability, reliability and performance when defining technical designs
- Accountable for ensuring all aspects of app development follow compliance and security best practices
- Responsible for the feature development and ongoing support of mobile and web applications, assessing and leveraging low-code and no-code solutions when applicable
- Defines, designs, codes, tests, debugs, implements, and supports various mobile and web apps
- Proactively and transparently keeps management apprised of technical considerations and issues that affect the health, performance, and effectiveness of apps, web services, and backend technologies
- Drives technical requirements for backend technologies and databases necessary from a mobile and web app perspective
Our take
The card trading and collecting community is stronger than ever, but keeping track of the value of collections has to date been complicated and tedious. Faced with this, LUDEX was founded to provide a better and quicker way to discover the value of cards, with its innovative AI-powered scanning app.
With LUDEX, collectors of baseball, football, and basketball cards, as well as both Pokémon and MTG trading cards, can find out the worth of individual cards by simply scanning the front of them. In addition, the app allows users to add cards to their portfolios, and see the total value of different collectible sets - sorted by card type or a custom characteristic.
The company's next steps include expanding the card-types it services to include Yu-Gi-Oh!, soccer, and MMA cards, amongst others. It has raised significant investment to accelerate growth and expand operations, all towards its goal of empowering those in the community to pursue their hobby more easily.
