Role
Who you are
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or related field
- Experience in deploying deep learning models at scale on real-world data in at least one of these deep learning frameworks: PyTorch, Tensorflow, Caffe
- Hands-on experience with developing, training and deploying deep learning models in multimodal (sensors space and temporal) real world data
- Strong Python and/or C++ skills
- Passionate about self-driving vehicles and real-world robotic solutions
- Strong presentation and communication skills
Desirable
- Publication record in top-tier computer vision or machine learning conferences
- 3+ yrs industrial experience in deploying Computer Vision/Deep learning algorithms in real-world scenarios
- Robotics/autonomous experience is a plus
What the job involves
- Working on the intersection of sensing and perception algorithms
- Prototyping and deploying robust computer vision algorithms on ISEE’s vehicle fleet in areas of: Sensor calibration, localization and mapping, fusion, tracking and pattern recognition
- Benchmarking and maintaining developed modules
- Work independently to deliver high-quality code in a timely fashion
- Collaborate with team for testing, evaluation and review of code
Our take
Autonomous vehicles are big business at the moment, with companies such as Tesla, Google owned Waymo and Argo all vying to create the technologies that will transform the way we travel. ISEE finds its place in this thriving sector by specialising in autonomous trucks and using AI and deep learning technologies to create self-driving trucks that can learn and use the machine equivalent of common sense.
Speed, efficiency and safety are essential within the logistics and shipping industry. Rather than trying to program a reaction to an infinite number of possible events, Isee is creating trucks that will learn and react autonomously, designing a computer system that drives like a human.
Following very strong revenue growth in 2022, ISEE has closed a Series B funding round which is being used to hire additional talent and further the development of its self-driving yard trucks. As the first, and only, company to achieve fully-autonomous operations there's certainly an exciting future ahead for ISEE.
