What the job involves
- We're an integration tool built by engineers for engineers coming off a strong 2024
- As we continue to expand, we need to add an additional Engineering Manager
- This role reports to our VP of Engineering
- As an Engineering Manager at Prismatic, you'll lead the work on features that impact thousands of customers globally, shaping how integrations are built
- You'll lead and grow a high-velocity team and culture
- Prismatic is built primarily in TypeScript, using Python and Django on the backend and React on the frontend
- We build a sophisticated Low-Code integration builder for users who want a WYSIWYG interface, as well as an SDK and tools for building integrations fully in TypeScript
- Additionally, we provide features for powering the AI Agent functionality of our customers
- We're looking for you to apply your experience within this environment and make a meaningful impact on our codebase
- You'll participate in technical decision-making and planning while helping our engineering team grow their capabilities
- Manage a team of experienced software engineers
- Write and maintain project planning documents
- Provide coaching and guidance to your team on both technical and non-technical contributions
- Help find and hire new engineers
- Build and support a high-trust, high-autonomy team
- Give regular high quality feedback on performance to your team
- Partner with Product Management to set and manage project level roadmaps
- Contribute technically to the team

Our take
App and platform integrations that connect a company’s different functions can take up a lot of engineering time for in-house developers, taking precious chunks out of a product’s timeline to sales and marketing. Prismatic cuts this wasted time with its ready-for-use integration platform targeted at product development and software engineering teams. As a native integration marketplace, Prismatic’s iPaaS solution spans an integration design platform, integration marketplace, deployment, and support, all through purpose-built cloud technology.
Founded in 2019, Prismatic has received substantial funding, and although it's narrow in its target customer base of B2B SaaS developers, its product proves useful for a lot of a company’s operational wings. Its tools can be used for deployment, configuration, and updates throughout customer-facing teams as well.
Through the past few years, Prismatic has seen notable growth thanks to SaaS teams looking to cut down their development period. Its growth has reportedly outpaced sales and customer acquisition goals whilst funding is being used to grow its platform and further expand its workforce.
