Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or science discipline
- 4+ years of relevant experience within Product Marketing, Product Management, Management Consulting, Product Strategy
- Experience with one or more of the following areas - positioning B2B technology platform, experience in selling for both PLG-SLG motions, or working for an AI native technology
- Experience with both established and start up environments
- Demonstrable thought leadership with speaker sessions, blogs etc
- Based in San Francisco Bay Area and is going to be in the office at least 3 times a week (Mon, Tues, Thurs)
- Marketing strategy work - examples may include category creation, expansion of market reach (TAM), new product introduction
- Experience in selling to both technical and business buyers; experience in selling to medium and large enterprises
- Demonstrable work experience in ambiguous environments that is typical of high growth start-up environments to showcase comfort with ambiguity and very fast pace
Desirable
- MBA or a similar advanced degree is a big plus
- Experience in selling to developer community is highly recommended

- You will lead our charge by helping to create a category to dominate the market with compelling messaging and positioning strategies, while acting as the bridge connecting sales, product, and GTM teams for memorable product launches
- Your diverse skill set and visionary market analysis will shape Anyscale’s marketing initiatives as they transform the world with the application of AI in every industry in the coming decades

- Compelling positioning & messaging for Anyscale Platform to update all collaterals, including sales decks, datasheet, infographics, ROI calculators, product explainer videos
- Product differentiators scorecards by individual area and by different competitive segments
- Updated persona maps - for buyers and users - working closely with product and UI/UX teams
- Updated web site experience aligned with buyers’ journey supporting both PLG and SLG motions
- Category positioning collaterals - web content, eBook, solution briefs etc
Our take
AnyScale is a platform facilitating the development of distributed applications with high computing demands on its Ray platform. It answers an increasing requirement for higher-level tech strategies among companies which are incorporating AI and machine learning into their products, and a similarly broad and growing demand for easier access to cloud programming.
AnyScale launched its first commercial offering in 2021, and intends to continue developing products that will lower the skill and resource threshold for cloud programming. In 2023 it released Aviary, a project to simplify open-source large language model (LLM) deployment. What is promising, and lucrative, about its proposition is that it offers a general-use distributed system, this sidesteps the cumbersome process of stitching together disparate distributed systems, previously a requirement for novel applications. It is currently finding use in a range of applications such as supply chain, environmental restoration and retail by organisations including Amazon and Uber.
Anyscape has raised considerable funding led by Andreessen Horowitz and Addition. This is being used to scale its team and further develop the Ray platform. As the demand for AI apps rapidly increases, Anyscape is poised to disrupt a $13 trillion market.
