Role
Who you are
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Strong numerical skills
- You'll also need an analytical mindset to spot discrepancies and suggest improvements, and above all, a hunger to grow and learn as you take the next steps in your finance career
Desirable
- Prior experience in Finance or Accounting role
- Understanding of financial principles
- Studying towards or interested in a professional finance qualification (e.g. AAT, ACCA, CIMA)
- Experience of using NetSuite
What the job involves
- Maintain accurate financial records by posting journal entries, performing reconciliations, and assisting with month-end and year-end close processes
- Support intercompany reconciliations and recharges, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and documented
- Assist in monitoring budgets, tracking departmental expenses, and supporting cost allocation activities
- Communicate financial data effectively to non-financial stakeholders and support Finance Business Partners with ad-hoc financial analysis and projects
- Contribute to audit readiness by organizing and providing necessary documentation to internal and external auditors
- Provide support across accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing, as well as general administrative tasks for the finance team
