Who you are
- Proven experience as a remote IT Manager for a global, distributed company
- A track record of managing and supporting a remote workforce
- Deep expertise in a variety of internal IT infrastructure tools and systems, including Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, and Crowdstrike
- Experience with a range of operating systems, including Linux, Windows 10, Windows 11, macOS, iOS, and Android
- Demonstrated ability to manage internal deployments of security software and to collect and synthesize structured feedback from internal users
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical thinking and a proactive approach to solving complex problems, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- The capacity to thrive in an ambiguous or complex problem space with a high degree of ownership and autonomy
- A proven ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders across the business and a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth

- As an IT Manager at Beyond Identity, you will have a two-fold strategic mandate: to manage the internal IT needs of a global, remote company and to serve as a key strategic partner to the product team
- This role is a testament to the company’s core "dogfooding" culture, which uses internal operations as a living laboratory for product improvement and validation

- We are looking for an IT Manager who can manage a global, distributed workforce and serve as a critical user of the company's product, turning daily operational experience into a strategic asset
- Work with senior leadership team to prioritize, scope and plan business milestones
- Build technical rollout plans to reach business milestones

- Oversee the entire internal IT stack for a global, remote workforce
- Manage cloud services, identity solutions, and endpoint protection
- Manage hardware and software for employees on a range of operating systems, including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android
- Lead the internal deployment of Beyond Identity’s own software on employee devices in a "dogfooding" capacity
- Serve as the primary point of contact for IT escalations and vendor management
- Articulate complex IT concepts to non-technical stakeholders and provide regular updates to leadership
Our take
Remembering loads of different passwords can be difficult, which is why devices have begun to use biometrics instead. But to log in to many websites and apps, a password is still necessary - which is where Beyond Identity comes in.
Combining biometric technology with digital authority certification, Beyond Identity allows secure enclaves to grant access to not only a device but also the websites and apps used on that device. Its aim is to use this system to provide a password-free user experience that is not only seamless but more secure.
Its a valuable offering which has the company attract customers such as Snowflake, Roblox, Cloud Plus, and Paya Holding. It has also raised huge amounts of funding and demonstrated strong growth - in part fuelled by increasing demand from the shift to remote working. For now, Beyond Identity continues to expand operations and deliver new features such as "RealityCheck", which addresses AI deception in digital communications.
