What the job involves

- As an Executive Assistant, you’ll be a key partner to senior leadership and an essential part of keeping things running smoothly
- Managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and keeping priorities organized
- Handling email and communications with professionalism and discretion
- Preparing documents, notes, and follow-ups so nothing falls through the cracks
- Coordinating logistics for meetings, travel, and projects
- Acting as a thoughtful point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Anticipating needs and proactively solving problems before they become urgent
- Learning how decisions are made and helping translate plans into action

Our take
Discovering new drugs is essential in improving how diseases are treated, but existing methods are outdated. Many diseases are highly complex and have so far been impossible to treat with drugs, but developments in AI-driven computing present the potential to change this.
Relay Therapeutics provides an AI-driven drug discovery platform called Dynamo that uses cutting-edge experimental computational approaches to identify disease treatments that have previously been deemed untreatable. The platform's AI approach is driven by a pipeline of therapeutic candidates which hold an initial focus on precision oncology and genetic disease treatment.
AI is being used within the medical industry to aid in a wide variety of scenarios such as facility optimization and automated diagnoses, but Relay Therapeutics has smartly applied it to drug discovery. Through this more targeted approach, the company aims to rapidly develop genetic disease treatments and optimize the process of precision oncology, with plans to expand into further disciplines in the future.
