Role
Who you are
- Minimum of 2 years of related HR or administrative experience
- A related college/university degree or additional experience that reflects a foundational, theoretical knowledge of HR
- An appetite for doing things in a structured and planful way. There is lots of room for you to put your fingerprints on how our team supports the rest of the organization
- Amazing organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Excellent interpersonal skills, meaning a high level of comfort engaging directly with colleagues, presenting materials to a small audience and reaching out to people who may be new to you
- A natural curiosity for the AI industry, specifically around cutting edge research within the chip/semiconductor space
What the job involves
- The aim of this role will be to support the others in the HR team, to work with the larger HR & Operations team to support our current and future employees
- Supporting our Recruiting Activities, including scheduling interviews, engaging with external recruiting partners, writing job descriptions, and partnering with other team members on pre-onboarding and onboarding activities
- Rolling out, or supporting the roll out of programs and processes across the organization and providing training to employees as required
- Monitoring and tracking vacation and sick time taken, vacation balances and liability calculation
- Benefits Administration for employees in both the US and Canada, including new employee enrolment and employee benefit terminations, supporting benefit renewals, and auditing and validating health benefit and other related invoices
- Co-op student funding applications
- Supporting general Office Health and Safety
- Beyond this, the role will give you exposure to other annual processes and unique one-off processes.
- Each team member acts as a generalist so the opportunity to learn and be involved in different areas of HR that are of interest to you is high including compensation, performance management, tools implementation, compliance, etc
- This role is a fixed term contract (up to 18 months). Having said that, with our expected growth there may be an opportunity for full-time employment

Increased use of AI, and the hardware requirements that come with it, have presented a challenge for traditional datacenter compute architectures. Untether AI was launched to help companies run their AI workloads much faster, smoother and without breaking their budget.
The company has developed a unique at-compute chip architecture for neural net inference that eliminates the data movement bottleneck that costs energy and performance in traditional architectures. By having the compute element directly adjacent to memory cells, it accelerates inference for diverse neural networks such as vision, natural language processing and recommendation engines.
