Role
Who you are
- Qualifications: AAT qualification minimum, with 2+ years of post-qualification experience
- Technical Knowledge: Solid working knowledge of UK GAAP, corporation tax, VAT
- Tech Stack: Proficiency with Xero (or a proven readiness to master it quickly)
- Track Record: Demonstrated experience independently managing year-end statutory accounts

What the job involves
- We are looking for an Accountant who is excited about the mission and outcomes outlined below
- Manage a portfolio of clients, own their accounting needs end-to-end, and deliver an experience they'll actually appreciate
- You’ll work in a team with access to bookkeepers, the tax team and payroll to ensure you can focus on delivering a world-class customer experience
- Prepare year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
- File corporation tax and VAT returns accurately and efficiently
- Handle bookkeeping and personal tax workflows where required
- Act as the reliable, responsive and trusted voice for your client portfolio
Application process
- Video Interview / HR Screening: A ~30 minute interview with the Talent Acquisition Team
- Technical Round: A ~ 90-minute technical deep dive with the hiring team covering your most recent roles and hands-on experience
- Final Round: A ~45 minute session with our Country Manager where they will dive into some of your recent work situations to understand how you think and work
- Three stages, typically wrapped up within 3 weeks. Video or in-person depending on your location

The company’s product vision is that of an operating system for entrepreneurs. To do that, it has built use-case by use-case tools to automate tasks like bookkeeping, compliance and incorporation. Sleek provides many of these services for free and cross-sells them to more lucrative products.
The company has had an impressive journey, most recently securing substantial funding. This funding will help it enhance its automation-driven technology and expand its range of digital services. Already, the company serves over 16,000 SMEs in Singapore, Hong Kong, the UK, and Australia so it will be exciting to watch it grow further.
