Role
Who you are
- Proven ability to work independently: In this role, you will take charge of expanding our presence in the Dublin market, requiring a self-driven approach to grow both the region and the team
- Demonstrable strategic thinking across sales and go-to-market strategies
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of prospects and manage existing client accounts
- Passion and enthusiasm for the food industry, with the drive to lead market success
Desirable
- Experience in fast-paced businesses where you have been part of launching new products or regions
- Experience using CRM, ideally Hubspot
What the job involves
- You will be working autonomously in Dublin leading our expansion! The role requires an individual capable of independent work whilst also engaging with our international team
- The role will involve occasional visits to our London office
- This is a strategic, commercial role which requires excellent sales and negotiation skills, the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and an ambitious and proactive mindset
- You will need to understand the technological as well as strategic requirements to roll out new clients, and work closely with our tech team to ensure we have the right product-market fit
- You will be responsible for developing and executing our sales strategy to win new clients
- Working with the successful UK team and multiple stakeholders to drive our Dublin market to success
- Creating a reporting framework to share opportunities, wins and insights from new markets. Driving a data-driven environment to ensure continued velocity and hunger for sales growth
- Continually staying abreast of global landscapes and trends in the food tech space
Our take
Acknowledging that the B2B food delivery market has fallen way behind B2C in terms of digitisation, Feedr is targeting an estimated £4.7bn contract catering market. Adopting a B2B2C model, Feedr attracts companies to sign up and subsidises the meals their staff order as an additional perk to boost employee well-being. This also forms part of the company’s talent recruitment and retention strategy.
In addition, Feedr differentiates itself by curating a set of tailored menus based on the user’s order history, aiming to elevate the quality of breakfast, lunch and dinner orders. On top of that, the restaurants and caterers Feedr works with are low-impact on the planet and quality-assured by the company.
Feedr started off operating in London, and after being acquired by Berlin company EatFirst, is ready to expand its service to new geographical areas. Though it's working against a crowded B2C market, Feedr is the only B2B2C model food provider, a low-admin, hassle-free alternative for busy companies. And its partnership with EatFirst will no doubt elevate its presence as it looks to expand.
