Founding Machine Learning Engineer, Bluesky

• Experience in a Machine Learning Engineer, Data Analyst role, or similar, preferably with some exposure to NLP and Data Analytics
• Foundational knowledge of machine learning, statistics, optimization, NLP, data analytics, or related field
• Familiarity with Python and libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras
• Exposure to NLP techniques such as text classification, named entity recognition, sentiment analysis, language modeling, etc
• Awareness of modern LLMs like GPT-3 or BERT
• Basic SQL skills with some experience in database design and development
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or equivalent is a plus
• Familiarity with databases and Big Data frameworks like Spark, Hadoop, etc. is beneficial
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
• Published research in areas of Machine Learning, NLP, AI, or related field

Desirable

• Use software engineering best practices to ensure the creation of robust, scalable, and efficient systems
• Implement and maintain machine learning models, with a focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs), using existing architectures and frameworks
• Understand and apply the principles of LLMs and generative AI to troubleshoot and enhance model performance
• Apply techniques such as prompt engineering and fine-tuning to optimize Large Language Models, developing strategies for business problem-solving
• Implement data analytics procedures using LLMs, analyzing data sets independently to derive insights that inform model development and business strategy
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, translating them into machine learning and data analytics solutions
