Role
Who you are
- You are proficient with SQL and know your way around data pipeline management tools such as Snowflake, dbt, Git, Airflow and Python. All analysts at Wise are expected to be full-stack regardless of level and should be comfortable owning analytics from ingestion to insights
- You have experience working in payments (preferably) or are excited about building an expert understanding of our bank products and solutions, as well as those of our competitors
- You have experience working in a high-growth tech/product environment and have ideally worked closely with sales and product teams before
- You understand sales cycles (ideally enterprise), are familiar with sales metrics/KPIs and have a good working knowledge of tools like Salesforce or similar
- You are commercially minded. You are comfortable with opportunity sizing, forecasting and scenario modelling
- You (preferably) have line management experience, or experience coaching or developing analysts. And, are comfortable working with stakeholders to identify opportunities where analytics can have an impact - turning this into an analytics roadmap and resourcing plan
- You are solution-oriented and able to own projects from start to finish. You are comfortable motivating stakeholders across Wise and negotiating timelines to unblock yourself and make things happen!
- You’re an expert at crafting dashboards and visualisations that bring data to life, tell a story and have diagnostic power - even better if you’ve got experience doing this in Looker/Superset
- You have a strong track record of applying quantitative analysis to see beyond the numbers, generate actionable insights and drive the adoption of your proposed changes by influencing stakeholders
- You are an excellent communicator, able to form your own opinions and effectively articulate them to win colleagues round to your way of thinking
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Senior Product Analytics Manager [AL2] to spearhead growth in our Bank Products vertical
- It’s a role that will allow you to have a big impact from day one!
- You will be at the forefront of growth at Wise, leading one of the newest and fastest growing product lines - earmarked as one of the biggest growth areas for Wise
- And, working on launching products with some of the largest banks and fintechs in the world
- You will work closely with the vertical leads to shape the priorities of the team, building conviction through your insights and analysis
- This is a great opportunity to build a 0-1 product/team and scale it massively
- This role will require you to be hands-on, as you develop a deep understanding of our product and opportunities for analytics to have impact, but there’s scope to scale the team soon after joining (currently with 1 direct report)

Our take
Wise started when the two founders realised they would be better off trading Estonian kroons for British pounds (and vice versa) between themselves rather than going through banks. That was back in 2011, and they've since grown Wise into one of Europe's most successful tech businesses, exchanging billions of currency every month.
Wise rapidly grew by solving a significant problem for customers, who lost too much money to banks when exchanging currency. Its attracted investment from some of the best investors in the world, from Andreesen Horowitz to Index Ventures and even Richard Branson.
While the market is crowded with new entrants (think Revolut and Monzo) and traditional banks trying to catch up, Wise is still staying one step ahead having recently opened a new hub in India and new payment features as well as reporting a rise in key metrics on higher volume and customer growth. This continued growth positions the company well for continued success in the future.
