Who you are

We are looking for individuals with experience of using school MIS systems - for example senior teachers, deputy/headteachers who are seeking a career change, or Data Managers, Office Managers or Timetablers
It just as important that candidates are positive, highly motivated and willing to learn and adapt as the software changes
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Natural interest in data analysis and reporting
Ability to learn and adapt as our software changes
Excellent people skills
Working in or with schools, ideally as a senior teacher but possibly in a data analysis / MIS role

What the job involves

Take responsibility for a portfolio of customers to deliver the Customer Success Service
Train new and existing customers on the company’s full range of software products from primary through to secondary
Provide consultancy and advice services to customers -from small schools to some of the largest MATs in the country - on how to best use Bromcom to produce high quality analysis and reports to manage their schools
Provided 121 bespoke support for customers as part of the CSM role

Our take

Bromcom has come some way since Founder Ali Guryen developed a wireless school attendance recording system in the early 1980s – then hailed as revolutionary. Nowadays, the company offers schools and multi-academy trusts (MATs) a range of cloud-based software solutions for attendance and assessment tracking, data management, finance, and budgeting.

While it would be presumptuous to label the company the leader in its field, its claim that 70% of the UK’s secondary schools use Bromcom for their cloud MIS is a serious indication of its position. Its landmark deal to supply its software to over 200 maintained schools in West Sussex is also testament to the company's scope.

The public sector – from which the majority of Bromcom’s customer base comes – has often been criticised for its slow digital transformation. However, the education sector has recently accelerated its migration to the cloud, which is good news for Bromcom, which has been championing (and perhaps banking on) this move for a while.
