Role

Who you are

  • 4+ years of treasury experience
  • Basic understanding of liquidity risks
  • Basic experience of liquidity risk management frameworks
  • Quantitative and analytical skills, including basic modelling skills
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to build cross-functional relationships
  • Experience of working through change and implementing new processes
  • Attention to detail and proactivity crucial
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, including either banking or EMI/PI regulations

What the job involves

  • Checkout.com is seeking a motivated Liquidity Management, Senior Associate to join our Treasury team. The successful candidate will be working on the buildout and deepening of liquidity risk management capabilities globally
  • In response to the continued scaling and expansion of Checkout.com in terms of volume, geographic footprint, payment methods, currencies supported, and product diversity, you will be identifying and quantifying liquidity risks, contributing to the design and implementation of a liquidity and funding management framework, monitoring and managing these risks on an ongoing basis
  • Support Checkout.com in all aspects of the day to day monitoring, analysis and management of the legal entities and regional liquidity positions
  • Understand current business model and payment flows, to understand and identify liquidity risks
  • Develop basic models, undertake forecasting and execute on liquidity management strategies, procedures and controls to mitigate and manage these risks
  • Contribute to the design and set up of MI reports
  • Implement liquidity management and hedging strategies, including management of intra-group funding and liquid assets
  • Support documentation of policies and procedures associated with the above
  • Participate in new product and expansion initiatives for liquidity risks and funding requirements
  • Contribute to design and implementation of a liquidity and funding management framework
  • Involvement in strategic and regulatory initiatives within the treasury and liquidity space
