Who you are
- It’s important that our customer support executives have a good understanding of technology
- Whether that’s through work experience or their hobbies & interests
- 2+ years of successfully handling a high volume of customer calls in a contact centre or similar environment
- Flexibility to work changing shift patterns, which include evenings and weekends
- Confident in using a variety of different software and the ability to multitask effectively in a high-pressure environment

- While handling a high volume of calls, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on their experiences
- With your exceptional communication skills and empathetic approach, you'll address their inquiries, offer personalised solutions, and ensure that each interaction leaves a positive impression
- Our customers can sometimes call us in a kerfuffle whilst using our technology solutions; whether that's charging their vehicles, using our website/mobile app or with another technology-based issue
- Our colleagues patiently guide our customers through troubleshooting processes, providing step-by-step instructions, and offering tips to optimise their experience
- In this role, you'll be the backbone of our customer experience, tackling a steady stream of calls all day long ensuring that each customer feels valued and heard
- You'll provide prompt and accurate information, troubleshoot issues, and offer effective solutions, all while maintaining a positive and professional approach
Our take
Electric vehicle adoption has risen dramatically in recent years, but EV infrastructure can still be limiting for drivers. Pod Point solves this problem by making and installing electric charging points in homes and public spaces.
Since its launch, Pod Point has grown to become the UK’s largest provider of electric vehicle chargers, with a number of lucrative partnerships with supermarket chains such as Sainsbury’s, Lidl, and Tesco. Energy giant EDF bought a major stake in the company in 2020, a testament to Pod Point’s viability. Now, the company boasts over 240,000 EV charging points.
The company faces competition from the likes of Chargemaster, but its partnerships, and the backing of EDF, will allow Pod Point to remain a leading player in the EV market.
