Senior Director of Strategic Partners, Coherent

• 15+ years’ experience building and managing partners, Channels and partner programs
• Proven track record of achieving results and influencing partners’ business and operational initiatives
• Exposure to and experience working in a SaaS and start-up environment
• Strong presentation skills and experience selling to senior management/C-Suite
• Ability to work independently, identify challenges and problem solve to a successful conclusion
• Interpersonal skills – experience dealing effectively with people in various roles – team player/culture builder
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills

Desirable

• The Senior Director, Strategic Partners will have responsibility for the strategy and go to market activities with a focused set of high value partners for Coherent
• This leader will lead the Go to Market and product alignment strategy to engage large, global consulting and system integrators (SI) partners in order to expand Coherent’s market presence and accelerate revenue
• The Senior Director, Strategic Partners will work cross-functionally at Coherent and with vertical practices within the partner to identify and develop joint solutions that benefit the partner and Coherent
• Build and execute joint strategic plan with focused partner)s)
• Drive cross organization alignment, with Coherent and partner to ensure joint value proposition is maximized
• In conjunction with partner, build joint solutions and go to market assets
• Build Coherent brand awareness within partner
• Identify target industries and accounts for collaborative selling opportunities with partner
• Establish and maintain partner relationships to create new commercial opportunities
• Develop and execute partner enablement plans to ensure partner can position Coherent and deliver agreed to services and solutions in market
• Generate and manage commercial deal flow in conjunction with Coherent sales organization
• Responsible for managing all aspects of partner engagement from contracting, integration and post-implementation continuous performance reviews and reporting
• Attend and support Coherent-led partner and channel seminars, forums, and events
• Keep up to date on market landscape and be the go-to-person for industry specific domain knowledge and competitive trends
