Role
Who you are
- You are a solution seller by nature, training, and experience, who is genuinely curious, and confident speaking with customers
- You’re a persuasive self-starter, a good listener while having a high degree of personal accountability in communicating cross-functionally and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline
- You have experience with BDR processes, selling SaaS (ideally productivity solutions), and working with mid-size to large companies, across a variety of industries
- Since a majority of your time will be spent on emails, calls, and web conferences with customers, we expect an infectiously positive attitude when prospecting, presenting, and closing!
- 1-2 years relevant work experience in outbound tech sales
- A proven track record of consistently hitting targets in previous jobs or extracurriculars
- You’re a persuasive self-starter and a good listener with a high degree of personal accountability in communicating cross-functionally and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills
- Customer empathy and genuine curiosity for prospects and their need
What the job involves
- We are not interested in aggressive or annoying sales tactics. Our secret sauce is helping people see the value of the solution we provide and stepping in to assist product-led growth
- Run effective outbound prospecting campaigns including cold-calls, cold emails, and social touches
- Qualify inbound leads by introducing ClickUp and running them through a BANT criteria
- Represent our brand to customers at the start of their research journey
- Schedule appointments and demos for new logo acquisition and expansion across the existing customer base
- Serve as a product specialist on ClickUp products and services
- This is a hybrid position in Dublin, Ireland
Our take
Clickup provides a set of professional tools for collaborative project management, spreadsheets, document processing and workplace communication which are accessed from a single platform. In contrast to most of the austere, pared-back tools you might find in the workplace, it takes a playful approach, with its programs looking more like fun consumer-focused apps while still being fully-featured.
The company isn't alone in the workplace productivity market, counting Asana, Jira, Slack, and Monday among just a few of its competitors. However its advantage comes from its unified platform which encourages users to stay in ClickUp's ecosystem rather than look outside for other tools. Indeed, the vast majority of its users utilise three or more of its products. This has led to strong success in its market, with over 800,000 teams using the platform in enterprises such as IBM, logitech and Spotify.
ClickUp has been the beneficiary of a significant amount of investment, which it has used to develop its product and expand internationally. As it grows its footprint in Asia and Europe, where nearly half of its customers are based, it has also unveiled a new version of its platform which integrates AI writing and advanced search tools. The company is well poised to deliver on its vision of becoming the one app to replace them all.
