Who you are
- Experience in account management, sales, or customer success within a SaaS or CPaaS environment, across SMB to Enterprise clients
- Strong solution-selling skills: uncover customer problems, build value-driven solutions, communicate ROI, and negotiate effectively
- Proven ability to grow and expand existing accounts by identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities and going deep within organizations
- Comfortable collaborating across teams (Support, Operations, Product) to deliver a seamless customer journey
- Data- and results-driven, fluent in metrics like churn, retention, and pipeline analysis; familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Intercom & Slack is a plus
- Customer-obsessed, self-disciplined, and organized—able to thrive in a low-key, high-drive, remote-first environment without micromanagement
- Excellent communicator (written, verbal, and presentation-ready), curious by nature, and someone who’s motivated, humble, and not afraid to roll up their sleeves
What the job involves
- We’re seeking a hands-on Key Account Manager to own and grow a portfolio of high-value SMB customers across ClickSend’s EMEA region, playing a key role in our broader growth strategy through strong retention and account development
- In this role, you’ll manage the day-to-day relationship with your nominated accounts, focusing on keeping customers successful, engaged, and growing with ClickSend
- Success will be reflected in the health and expansion of your portfolio, including retention and growth metrics such as net revenue retention, supported by consistent, high-quality account activity that demonstrates effective pipeline and opportunity management
- Beyond the numbers, you’ll stand out by driving work forward efficiently, building smart and scalable processes, bringing creativity and clarity to problem-solving, and developing a deep understanding of ClickSend’s solutions and how they deliver value
- Just as importantly, success will be evident in the trust you build and the positive feedback you earn from your customers, because happy accounts are the ultimate KPI
- You will coordinate regular key account outreach to identify and execute opportunities to grow our existing accounts by building trust and engagement
- You will position yourself as a trusted advisor to your customers to understand their challenges and goals
- You will continually learn in order to establish yourself as an expert resources for the technologies and solutions we sell
- You will develop QBR decks and present to your key accounts in order to further their understanding of ClickSend’s capabilities

Our take
Over the course of well over a decade, Sinch has grown into an international service helping enterprise companies communicate with their customers over text, in-app video/voice messages, and other mobile channels. Used by Google, Tinder, Uber, and PayPal, among other marquee enterprise companies, most customers will have crossed paths with Sinch.
The company’s rise is due in part to an increased marketing focus on cultivating a highly personalised relationship between customer and brand. In part, too, it’s down to the surge in custom Sinch saw over recent years when more familiar channels of customer/brand communication went down. That seems to have settled now, but personalized messages, over text specifically, continues to play well among younger consumers.
It's going to prove a tough market to navigate going forward, though. Equally well-established competitors like Twilio, 8x8, and Link Mobility Group all have similar offerings. Sinch's foray into conversational AI will help them keep pace, as will their steady march of acquisitions, fundraising to fuel scaling efforts and partnerships with the likes of Salesforce.
