Backend Engineer, Berachain

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of experience in backend development with proficiency in languages such as Go, Rust, Python, or Node.js
• Strong understanding of database management systems, both SQL and NoSQL
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of blockchain technology and experience working with EVM-compatible chains or the Cosmos SDK is highly preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and optimize complex systems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid team environment
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient backend services and APIs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end engineers, product managers, and blockchain engineers to deliver high-quality products
• Implement security and data protection measures to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of the blockchain network
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, testing, debugging, and deployment
• Write and maintain comprehensive documentation for newly developed features and APIs
