Who you are
- BSc/MSc in a relevant field
- Portfolio showcasing relevant previous work
- 2+ years of experience in designing graphics/diagrams for technical products
- 2+ years of experience in working with tools for design: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, Figma, etc
- A bonus points for experience with animation tools e.g. Adobe After Effects
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and colors
- Familiarity with technical concepts and ability to translate complex information into easily understandable visuals
- Experience with creating diagrams illustrating technical concepts like system architecture, data flow, use case overview
- Ability to collaborate with engineers and a technical audience
What the job involves
- We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Graphic Designer to join our team to support our marketing efforts, user experience design, and technical training initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design, with expertise in creating visually engaging and impactful designs for both print and digital platforms
- As a Graphic Designer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, user experience, and technical training, to create compelling visual assets that align with our brand identity and enhance the overall user experience. This is a key role within our organization, and you will have the opportunity to lead design projects and working across various stakeholders
- Develop graphics for technical training content, blog posts and documentation
- Develop YouTube thumbnails and graphics used in the videos
- Maintain and improve existing graphics as Ray and Anyscale evolve
- Build, maintain, improve design system for all visuals
- Introduce a single design standard across training, blog posts, documentation
- Develop visual identity for events and meetups
- Work on important slide-decks to improve their visual style
- Produce imagery for advertising, website, sales tools, giveaways
