Role
Who you are
- Minimum of 8+ years proven experience in B2B sales
- Strong background in education technology (EdTech), corporate learning or Learning & development (L&D) market
- Experience in owning P/L and budget
- Proven experience in the startup/scale world
- Experience using Hubspot as a CRM platform is highly desired
- Proven experience meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team of 8-10 sales professionals
- Fluent Dutch & English
- Master or MBA degree in related field
What the job involves
- You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, as well as developing and implementing sales strategies and plans. You will be coaching and mentoring your team (6 a 7 people) - as well managing relationships with key clients and partners
- Sales strategies and planning (Market analyses, industry analysis, Business Development strategies and define & implement Key Account Strategies)
- Sales Planning Process (Planning portfolio and sales plans, implementing business development and key account strategies, weekly sessions with sales team and quarterly target settings.)
- Sales Forecasting and Planning (Objectives forecasting, key account management plans, review and evaluate, report back to C-level about weekly KPIs)
- Business Integration & Stakeholder management (Work together with other departments like B2C, Marketing, Product, IT, Finance. Align and collaborate with the rest of the organization to ensure goals are met.)
- Lead Generation (Work together with your own B2B CRM Marketer and B2C marketing team for lead activation and lead generation activities.)
- Client interaction (Lead senior negotiations of contracts, prices, and understand legal ramifications)
- Team & Development (Manage entire Sales BU, recruit new Business Developers and Key Account Managers and motivate them to sell and personal develop with sales training.)

The online learning and training sector has seen a huge surge over the last few years. Demand for people with high-level digital skills is greater than the supply of those very people with the right capabilities and expertise. Growth Tribe aims to bridge this digital skills gap.
Growth Tribe started off as a consultancy agency but quickly realised that companies were in need of more education and training, so it quickly made the jump. Transitioning from classroom-based training to an online learning platform has allowed the company to reach new markets more easily - it has now expanded into the UK, France, Finland, Denmark and Norway.
With sizeable funding and partnerships with the likes of Philips, Ahold, Thuisbezorgd and Rabobank, Growth Tribe hopes to accelerate growth by further expanding its training portfolio, digitising courses to reach new markets, and developing a holistic learning experience platform.
