Role
Who you are
- Undergraduate degree, preferably in a related area such as finance, accounting, economics or business management. Candidates with diverse educational backgrounds and experiences are also be considered
- Qualified or certified accountant
- Familiarity with financial processes and metrics
- Strong project management abilities and attention to detail with a proven track record of delivering results and raising the bar
- Strong ability to work effectively in a tribe and engage with external stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Xero and other accounting software
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach: no problem is too big or small for you
- An owner's mindset and a drive to make a meaningful impact
- Proficiency in data analysis, research, and generating valuable insights
Desirable
- Previous exposure to environments such as startups or emerging industries, is an advantage
- Experience in the medical cannabis industry is highly regarded
What the job involves
- Oversee financial operations for Cantourage UK and Cantourage Clinic, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage and account for financial transactions of the UK business
- Manage financial information systems and oversee financial management reporting in support decision-making processes
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities for Cantourage UK
- Work with the Group CFO to prepare financial statements and support consolidation process for the Cantourage group
- Collaborate with the cross-functional tribe to optimise operational processes and efficiency
