Who you are
- Commercially astute and with solid experience of negotiating commercial contracts, you are ready to contribute to the ongoing growth of an expanding science-based SME with a bright future
- Knowledge of biodiversity loss and protection, protected species legislation, sustainability reporting frameworks, biodiversity offsetting and net gain will be a distinct advantage
- Experience working with clients, consulting, project management & engagement with commercial industries

- Able to prioritise workload based on strategic & tactical business priorities
- Delivery focused with a passion for quality and innovation

- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation & interpersonal skills
What the job involves
- We are looking for a highly motivated Account Executive to build market penetration in the mining and extractive industry for our biodiversity monitoring solutions
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, leveraging a variety of techniques
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including decision-makers and influencers, to position our solutions as the preferred choice
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations to promote the benefits and capabilities of our solutions.
- Stay current on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and enhance customer value
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure seamless delivery of our solutions and outstanding customer experiences
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance in our CRM system

A 2023 injection of funding, that will support increased digital capabilities, will enable the company to grow to meet this demand as it benefits from both heightened attention and new policy surrounding biodiversity concerns.
