Senior IT Specialist, Booksy

• Broad knowledge of IT topics (hardware, software, computer networks) to diagnose and solve technical issues reported by Booksy employees
• Good understanding of common operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux) and common technical challenges
• Very good communication skills, patience, empathy and ability to explain technical challenges to non-technical users
• Good research skills, self-reliance and “can-do” attitude to solve technical challenges based on the information available on the Internet
• Ability to perform analysis (cost vs benefits) in the context of hardware or peripherals purchased for employees
• Willingness to learn system administration and digital workplace topics

• In anticipation of increasing scale and complexity of the business we’re now looking for a Senior IT Specialist
• We are aiming to create and implement standardized processes and best practices that will serve the entire organization
• Our daily tasks include supporting a wide range of IT services, troubleshooting technical issues, and proactively improving user experiences
• We work closely with the Security team on a daily basis to ensure compliance
• Additionally, we frequently collaborate with the People & Culture and Finance teams to align IT services with organizational needs and ensure smooth operations across departments
• Resolving ongoing technical problems reported on the ticketing system face-to-face and remotely
• Purchasing, preparing and configuring and maintaining the inventory of equipment for employees and contractors
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting computers, printers and other peripherals
• Managing SaaS applications, overseeing access control, optimizing licensing, and ensuring cost-effective use of cloud-based tools to align with organizational needs and security standards
• Managing APIs, Make, PowerShell, and command-line tools. Efficiently automating workflows, integrating systems, and leveraging scripting and terminal commands to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and ensure cost-effective, scalable solutions
• Assist in maintaining the network infrastructure in the office
• Support in the creation and implementation of security policies and IT procedures in Booksy
• Actively participating in the process of declaring IT hardware and software purchase invoices
• Taking part in global IT initiatives around Digital Workplace and Endpoint Management
• Administration of users in Google Workspace, Slack, Office 365
