Role
Who you are
- 5+ years in product management, experience launching new products and scaling existing products
- Technical background with experience working with engineering teams to ship technical products
- Experience in the AI or machine learning industry
- A scientific, data-driven approach
- Experience launching products that have found distribution or commercial success
- Excitement for engaging in cross-organizational collaboration, working through trade-offs, and responding to change
- Articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences in presentations, conversations, and other communications
- Demonstrated conflict resolution skills, can mediate to overcome risk and roadblocks
- Experience with and passion for video games is plus
What the job involves
- As Senior Product Manager, you will report to the Head of Technology and help build our innovation strategy by connecting the work of our SEED applied research team with the rest of EA
- You will demonstrate the value and potential impact of the team’s work and identify opportunities to pilot innovations with partner teams
- You will also work with EA’s game teams to identify new ways that our team can address their needs for tomorrow and beyond
- You will set project priorities, define metrics and own deliverables, and contribute to an overall strategy to bring the future into existence at EA
- Lead vision, strategy, roadmap and execution of frontier technologies that will determine the future of video games
- Plan, track and deliver internal research and rapid prototyping efforts
- Validate progress and agreement on value by sharing the team’s progress among important partners and seeking collaboration
- Identify opportunities to pilot our innovations with appropriate partners, define requirements and user stories, prioritizing features based on impact and customer value
- Facilitate handoff of mature technologies to partner tech teams for integration into EA’s platforms and pipelines
- Supervise product deployment and hand-offs of complex projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards
- Work with a diverse set of partners, including research, central engineering, and game development teams
