Who you are

You have 3-5 years of experience in sales or account management functions
You have a relevant network and experience in the foodservice market, especially at hotel, restaurant and catering chains
You have an enormous drive to go the extra mile for the customer every time

What the job involves

We are looking for an Account Manager who will be responsible for our first steps into the German market
Making a sales plan for your market approach
Proactively approaching prospects via Linkedin, telephone, mail, events or via your network to make (physical) appointments
Visiting prospects throughout the country
Closing multi-year deals for our installations with which we structurally help customers to prevent food waste
Adjusting your KPIs and targets where necessary; you're at the wheel!

Our take

One of the biggest global challenges is tackling excessive food waste, with one-third of food produced around the world ultimately wasted. Orbisk is confronting this issue with its innovative waste bins that come equipped with a smart camera and a scale. It automatically registers all food being thrown away in professional kitchens, providing the food service industry with better waste visibility and insights as to how to improve operations, purchasing, and sourcing.

The company partnered with Sama – the leader in high-quality AI training data – to support accurate labelling of the thousands of food images taken by its Orbi cameras. This partnership truly propelled the company forward in terms of accuracy and credibility (with Sama winning the 2023 Business Intelligence Group Innovation Award for its work with Orbisk). Though the market is becoming increasingly competitive, Orbisk is well-placed to see growth as it aims to reduce food waste in kitchens across the globe.
