Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- 2-5 years experience in a high-growth environment or top tier firm, either in marketing or operations
- Fluent English and French (imperative as most of our target customers are French-speaking)
- Italian, Spanish, German and Asian languages are a plus – please mention it!
- Adventurous – the role requires to travel on your own up to 2 weeks per month (in a post covid-world)
- Outgoing – you should love speaking to people and enjoy building relationships with customers and community members
- Organized – you will oversee several pay-in and pay-out countries, which requires excellent project management skills
- Smart – we are an early-stage startup with a lot to be done. We’d love for our teammates to be smart, driven and creative so we can figure out the best way to grow together
What the job involves
- As Acquisition Manager, your role will be to acquire customers in France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Germany
- You will be responsible for conducting customer research; sourcing, negotiating and executing partnerships and events; setting up offline and online advertising campaigns; and sourcing and managing ambassadors
- The role will be based in Brussels, Paris or London, and you should be ready to travel around 2 weeks per month. Transport and accommodation will be taken care of

The Taptap Send app allows users to make instant, no fee transfers from a European bank account directly into a mobile money account abroad. Its ease-of-use, low fees and speed has set Taptap apart from rival solutions, including traditional money wiring services.
Since launching in 2018 Taptap Send has reached tens of thousands of customers and has moved millions of dollars back to developing countries. Initially launched in Africa, Taptap is now active in 29 countries, including Lebanon and Pakistan. This is a positive indicator of the app's success and potential for expansion into new territories.
