Role
Who you are
- An undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Systems or related field. Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree during the term of the internship (Summer 2023)
- Experience with cloud-based security tools, technologies, and controls a plus (e.g., Amazon AWS, Azure)
- Familiarity with SaaS environments a plus
- A general understanding of networks, operating systems, cloud operations and associated technologies and services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Articulates thoughts and ideas clearly, and concisely
- Ability to work effectively within a fast paced, changing environment
- A self-starter with the demonstrated ability to take initiative
What the job involves
- Work closely with Information Security’s GRC team to support the coordination and facilitation of iCIMS security governance goals and initiatives
- Perform in-depth vendor risk assessments reviews related to vendor risk management. Assist with annual reviews of mission critical vendors
- Support efforts to mature usage of the One Trust Security & Governance tool
- Assist in tracking and monitoring status of information security risks (policy exceptions and non-conformities)
- Provide support for audit preparedness (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC2 etc.)
- Track status on Information Security Policy and Process annual reviews
- Support security awareness, such as internal Phish testing
- Handle sensitive and/or confidential material and information with suitable discretion
