Role
Who you are
- Minimum 7 years of experience in product management or data science in the advertising technology industry
- Undergraduate degree, and ideally advanced degree, in a technical field, such as engineering, statistics or mathematics
- Deep understanding of the advertising ecosystem. Direct experience building advertising products within a ‘walled garden’ or ‘open web’ ad stack; ideally both
- Experience with advertising analytics and algorithms. Experience with experimental design, machine learning and/or statistical methods are a plus
- Experience with privacy enhancing technologies such as differential privacy and trusted execution environments (or an interest in learning these technologies)
- An understanding of, and ideally experience with, the data privacy landscape in advertising, including a working knowledge of relevant regulations and platform policies
- A desire to work closely with customers to understand needs and refine product-market fit

What the job involves
- You will be Anonym’s first product hire and will work closely with the SVP, Product and VP, Engineering to shape the product vision and drive strategic decision-making
- You will oversee the execution of key initiatives in a fast-paced, innovative environment, working with our team of engineers and researchers on cutting edge technologies at the intersection of advertising, privacy and analytics
- Work with Anonym leadership team to set direction for product strategy
- Manage roadmap, weekly standups, monthly sprints ensuring we are executing to plan and making sensible tradeoff decisions where necessary
- Collaborate closely with researchers and engineers to set technical priorities. A strong understanding of full-stack development, advertising analytics, and machine learning methodologies will enable you to effectively lead both technical and strategic initiatives
- Collaborate with engineering, legal and policy teams as well as customers, to define product requirements
- Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to align product strategy with market needs. Actively engage with customers to ensure that our product offerings are fine-tuned for real-world applications and market demands

Mozilla is a not-for-profit with a focus on promoting online privacy. The company has a published manifesto outlining its commitment to keeping a balance between commercial profit and public benefit.
The companies other products include Bugzilla, a bug management platform, and Pocket, an award-winning digital content filing service. In direct odds with Google, Mozilla has recently launched a new product Mozilla VPN. The VPN or virtual private network enables users to browse the internet without being tracked. Mozilla was also instrumental in creating the programming language Rust, which is admired for its brevity. Rust uses roughly half the amount of code as C++ to produce the same results.
