- Track record of hiring exceptional diverse talent, ideally with experience in the gaming industry
- An advocate for continuously improving candidates' experience and inclusive hiring practices
- Ability to maintain an agile hiring process
- Excellent sourcing techniques and experience engaging and activating passive candidates
- Knowledge of recruiting tools, applicant tracking systems, data management/reporting techniques
- Confident communicator, understands how best to adapt their approach to the relevant audience
- Team player - Maintains a positive problem solving attitude. Builds strong relationships within and beyond the team and is comfortable with a fast paced working environment
What the job involves
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify the hiring needs and capabilities required; translate those needs into the job description and establish the bespoke interview process
- Build talent acquisition strategies to improve the visibility and outreach of our career opportunities at Space Ape
- Source, engage and activate, high quality, talented individuals via a combination of, headhunting, networking and search strategies
- Conduct initial screening calls to access skills and suitability. Shortlist and share recommendations with the hiring team
- Maintain the ATS, interview and selection process. This includes scheduling interviews, collecting feedback and communicating with candidates throughout the process
- Finalise, present and close offers of employment
- Track and report on recruitment metrics, and use data to inform improvements in our hiring process i.e. time to hire from role kick-off to offer
- Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs
