What the job involves
- As a Credit Officer in FI Credit, you’ll have a primary focus in one of our teams (Insurance, Securitisation, Financial Sponsors, Funds, Specialist Finance, or Banks) and initially you’ll undertake credit analysis and make recommendations on lending, trading limits and internal ratings for clients
- In time we aim that you’ll be empowered to make important decisions with a delegated credit authority and ultimately, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate on other FI portfolios
- Run your own portfolio and use your insight to incorporate a forward view of horizon risks in your credit papers and discussions with partners
- Proactively contribute to sector strategy and appetite, credit policies and processes for your own and the wider sector portfolio
- Build positive relationships to become a trusted business partner for our well-regarded Coverage and Product colleagues and help drive collegiate working across FI Credit
- Take ownership of data integrity and championing simplification initiatives

Lloyds Bank, part of Lloyds Banking Group, began operations back in 1765 and is nowadays one of the UK’s leading retail and commercial banks.
