Role
Who you are
- Previous experience as the senior most product leader at a mid to late-stage global startup, preferably in an environment where multiple products are being sold and prioritization and tradeoffs have been prevalent
- Prior experience crafting Product Strategy for new markets, including market analysis, pricing, and competitive analysis
- Prior experience in the data privacy space, preferably within the advertising/marketing ecosystem
- Proven experience with understanding client needs and articulating those needs to other teams
- Proven track record of transforming a vision into a working product delivered to a significant number of customers
- Enjoys and is comfortable being hands-on with key components of the business (client calls, team project work, etc.…) while maintaining the ability to think strategically about the evolution of the product organization
- In-depth understanding of the digital advertising space
- Strong leader who can drive consensus
- Strong communicator who can articulate feature trade-offs and design choices
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, can clearly and thoroughly articulate ideas and drive cohesion across teams
- Ability to maintain a supportive, inclusive environment that cares for employees and leads with trust, transparency, and respect
- Passionate about the role that the product team can play in driving company success and capable of inspiring the product organization
- Proven capability to attract, recruit and motivate team members at all levels, world-class people management
- Works well cross-functionally with the ability to think rigorously and make hard decisions
- Adaptable and comfortable with change
- Experience interfacing with a board of directors, investors, corporate stakeholders, and enterprise clients
- Desires to make an impact on the world through technology
- MBA, LLM, or Graduate Engineering Degree preferred
- IAPP Certification and Exposure to/Experience with the IAB TCF framework are a plus
What the job involves
- As the senior leader of Sourcepoint’s Product Management organization, you’ll leverage your understanding of data privacy and the digital advertising ecosystem to play a key role in developing product strategy and delivering new and innovative product capabilities across the entire Sourcepoint product suite
- The opportunity to own the product strategy and direction as the senior-most product team member while leading a global product function alongside proven industry veterans is a one-of-a-kind opportunity. In this role, you’ll be solving and supporting the most critical underpinnings of the open web from a privacy and compliance perspective we’ve seen yet. You’ll be at the forefront of this constantly evolving landscape
- Collaborate with teams across the company on large-scale product opportunities to identify the vision for new products, capabilities, and markets
- Understand and maintain Sourcepoint’s point of view with respect to the future of data privacy software, ensuring Sourcepoint's long-term roadmap is aligned with that future state
- Work closely with the entire leadership team, contributing to the larger company strategy, product direction, and vision and influencing strategic business decisions
- Partner with the Engineering organization to drive highly efficient execution of product delivery and effective management and communication of milestones
- Foster an industry-leading product culture centered on client feedback, innovation, productivity, and collaboration, creating a well-understood process for identifying ways in which Sourcepoint can innovate in the data privacy software space
- Maintain a deep understanding of the overall market, with a specific focus on competitive and near-competitive solutions
- Manage communication and expectations with internal and external clients, define commercialization, pricing, and go-to-market practices
- Bring together customer data analytics, the incorporation of market feedback, and competitive analysis to optimize, measure, and improve Sourcepoint’s product portfolio
- Create clear release communications processes, partnering closely with client-facing teams on product roll-outs
- Represent Sourcepoint products to the media and customer communities worldwide, playing an active role in key industry working groups
- Audit and optimize through automation the current product set for areas that require manual intervention and ensure future development focuses on efficiency, supportability, and scale
- Define product success metrics and construct a framework to continuously analyze product performance to assess success and/or challenges
- Create and manage well-designed recruitment and career pathing framework that enables the team to grow as necessary. As part of this, ensure the Product Leadership structure is well defined with key personnel having an appropriate definition of responsibilities, and appropriate titles and compensation
