Company mission
To amplify the impact of healthcare professionals.
Role
Who you are
- Are you looking to impact and be part of something special, such as shaping the future of healthcare?
- Are you excited to shape the operating model that enables the R&D organisation to scale?
- Experience building, scaling, or meaningfully shaping a Product Operations framework, not just operating within one already in place, that increased the team impact
- Systems thinker, has a track record of designing and scaling operational systems, launch processes, planning cadences, or feedback frameworks in ambiguous, fast-changing environments
- 4–7 years of experience in product operations, technical program management, product management, or strategy/consulting; ideally at a fast-growing technology or AI company
- Hands-on experience building, deploying, or extensively using AI agents, automations, or AI-powered workflows in a professional setting
- Strong data literacy; comfortable translating data into dashboards and decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior and executive stakeholders
- Experience in the HealthTech or healthcare industry (nice-to-have, not mandatory)
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in healthcare in the UK and/or France (nice-to-have, not mandatory)
- Proficiency in the French language (nice-to-have, not mandatory)
What the job involves
- At Semble, we are on a mission to enable health professionals to amplify their impact
- We improve the way healthcare is delivered to millions of people by providing doctors and their teams with powerful, innovative, intuitive, and secure software
- Our cloud-based clinical system is already used by thousands of clinicians, making their lives easier and saving them money, while structuring their health data to help research
- We are unfortunately not able to consider candidates located outside these locations and time zones at this stage
- We're looking for a Product Operations Manager to build the operational backbone of our product organisation. Reporting to the Head of Product, you'll own the systems and cadences that keep Product, Engineering, Design, and Go-to-market aligned, and build the AI-powered workflows and automations that let a lean team move like a much bigger one
- Establish the operating cadence. Build and run the rhythms that keep the product org aligned and moving fast, along with the processes and tools that enable quicker, better-informed decisions. - Ensure OKRs are tracked and effectively measure impact and outcomes
- Transform data into actionable insights. Build and maintain frameworks for capturing, organising, and centralising user feedback, including early access and beta releases. Partner with Data Analytics to build dashboards on product and customer health, and synthesise feedback, usage data, and support trends into clear opportunities that inform roadmap prioritisation
- Own release operations, enabling teams and AI agents to continuously ship value to customers while meeting compliance, security, and regulatory standards
- Close operational gaps at scale. Identify bottlenecks across the product development lifecycle and lead initiatives to simplify, standardise, or automate them. Build checklists, playbooks, and self-serve resources that support product teams from ideation through post-launch and establish repeatable ways to measure and iterate on efficiency gains
- Champion AI adoption. Stay current on emerging AI tools and agent capabilities; design, pilot, and roll out AI-powered workflows and automations that measurably improve how the product team works
- You’ll join a highly collaborative Product team, working closely with R&D as well as our Applied AI team. This is a hands-on, builder's role in which you’ll treat our operating model as an internal product and be accountable for its impact
Our take
In healthcare, overloaded systems riddled with room for error are in dire need of an overhaul. Semble (previously Heydoc) is one of the startups stepping in to try and fix the problem. Its integrated clinical system aims to help practices manage patient data and streamline their administration and operations.
Semble is not the only option in the market, but its focus on private hospitals and clinics may well work to its advantage, as many of its competitors primarily target the NHS. The company's cloud-based system aligns the company with the broader trend towards cloud-based operations, another good sign for its future growth.
A well-funded business, Semble has been able to remain at the forefront of innovation through adding automation and most recently, AI to its system. A considerable influx of investment in 2024 will help to consolidate its market position in the UK as well as support the expansion of its newer presence in France.
