Who you are

You should have many years of experience and preferably would have worked in large digital transformation programs as a Senior DevOps Engineer (f/m/x) consisting of cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, containers and would understand managed application/container security across the layers etc
Strong engineering and programming skills preferably in JVM languages and/or cloud-based solutions on compiled languages
Strong skills in scripting languages (Bash, Python) and tools like Docker, Terraform, and Ansible for automating tasks, with many years of working experience
Knowledge on how to set up and use tools like GitHub, GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Jenkins
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS or other cloud platforms, and services like Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and managed Kubernetes and deployment patterns like blue-green, canary etc
Proven track record of maintaining of databases, distributed client-server applications, computing or storage clusters
Strong knowledge on Linux
Knowledge of Spring Boot, Oracle, Data processing, Kafka, MQ, OpenShift is a plus

What the job involves

You will be part of the Channel and Market Integration (CMI) Squad, which develops platforms that unifies interfaces of the Bank with external systems, such as Central Banks, Clearing Houses, government Agencies, Regulators
The platform allows payment processes to leave and enter the bank, provides payment orchestrating services on cloud-based microservice architecture
Ideal candidate will be responsible for defining the continuous delivery roadmap for one of the leading programs in corporate bank, leading from the front on all aspect of Software Development Lifecycle, following and applying the agile principles
Develop and support applications as well as DevOps artifacts to support application rollout and maintenance
Apply best practices in software engineering to deliver optimum results
Be a key player in ensuring smooth customer experience while supporting the pace of changes in the team
Understand the needs of team and troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues
Adopt to new technology trends in order to provide the best industry standard solutions for maintaining hygiene and risk control

Our take

Deutsche Bank is one of Europe's biggest banks, operating in around 60 countries. It has a long history but hasn't struggled to keep up with the changing times. Like launching Vert, a digital payments service for small and medium businesses, and focusing on investments that are good for the environment and society.

The banks performance in 2025 has been impressive too. In the first nine months, pre-tax profit reached €7.7B (up 64% from last year) and net profit climbed to €5.6B (a 76% increase).
