Role
Who you are
- 3+ years of experience managing a high-performing Enterprise sales team at a fast-growing SaaS company
- 7+ years of overall sales experience, ideally selling complex solutions into mid-market and enterprise segments
- Track record of successfully helping to build an Enterprise sales motion (not just inheriting a mature one)
- Experience working cross-functionally with SDRs, SEs, Marketing, and Product teams
- Willingness and ability to travel periodically for team gatherings, customer meetings, and key strategy sessions
- Based in or willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area (preferred)
Desirable
- Experience selling AI, productivity, or sales engagement technologies
- Background in early-stage or Series A/B startups
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Head of Enterprise Sales to help us build and scale our Enterprise sales motion at Nooks
- You will lead a team of Enterprise AEs and work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Leadership to define and operationalize our Enterprise GTM strategy
- Hire, onboard, and coach a team of high-performing Enterprise AEs
- Partner with leadership to refine and build the Enterprise sales motion, playbooks, and processes
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Solutions Engineering to align pipeline generation, trial execution, and customer experience
- Support the team on complex, high-value deals through coaching, forecasting, and deal strategy
- Analyze data and KPIs to drive team performance and pipeline health
- Help shape our overall GTM strategy for new products and new market segments
Our take
For many businesses, the rise in hybrid and remote working has lessened team building and collaboration within their teams. Nooks was founded in 2020, initially as a virtual space for sales teams to collaborate and work in real-time, and to feel like they're working in the same room as their colleagues.
Nooks evolved from that social workflow premise and developed an AI dialer to automate manual tasks for sales teams. It also has a "Call Analytics" tool for sales teams to transcribe, analyse and improve upon their calls. Meanwhile, its virtual salesfloor still makes collaborating, team building and training easier for virtual teams.
While Nooks is up against large workflow management platforms such as Slack, its tight focus on sales teams lets it stand out. This speciality has led to several rounds of funding for Nooks, two of which came in 2024 off the back of massive momentum and growth for the company.
