Role
Who you are
- Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript, TypeScript
- Experience with React
- Experience writing robust markup and modern CSS
- Familiarity working with Git in engineering teams
Desirable
- Experience with automation testing
- Some experience with GraphQL and VisX
- A passion for writing reusable, modular code
- Experience working closely with UX experts
- Exposure to Node and Expres
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to join our team
- Our core hours of 11am-3pm GMT Mon-Fr
- Working with product managers, designers and engineers, you’ll play a major role in building the frontend of our flagship products
- You’ll be involved in major decisions about our product as we begin a crucial and exciting stage of product innovation
- You’ll discover new ways to communicate our insights to our growing user base. This really invites you to think broadly about communicating uncertainty, risk and complexity
- You’ll help others in reviewing code and designing components
- You’ll be working mainly with React, GraphQL (Apollo) and VisX, but also various other frontend libraries and tools
- You’ll discuss architecture and best practices, to deliver on our requirements
- You’ll spend most of your time turning designs into product features, bringing our advanced project analytics to users in a clear and powerful way
- You’ll work in an agile and cross-functional teams to deliver on our company strategy
- You'll contribute to improving our capabilities and development process, working with your Chapter Lead to grow yourself and share knowledge with other
