Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field
- 2+ years of relevant HR experience
- Broad HR Generalist experience across people operations, benefits, employee relations, compliance, and support
- Proficient familiarity with immigration support
- Possesses solid judgment, discretion, and empathy to handle sensitive employee matters
- Operational skills including benefits administration knowledge, HR systems experience for process consistency and scalability
What the job involves
- Glean is seeking an HR Generalist to support and strengthen our people operations as we continue to scale
- This role will be a hands-on partner across the employee lifecycle, helping drive a consistent, thoughtful employee experience while ensuring strong operational execution
- You will work closely with People, payroll, finance, legal, and business leaders to support core HR programs, employee relations, benefits, compliance, and process improvement in a fast-moving environment
- Support employees and managers across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, role changes, off boarding, benefits questions, leave administration, and policy interpretation
- Partner closely with our HRBPs and the broader People team to help cover a wide range of HR needs across business partnering, operations, benefits, immigration, and employee relations
- Help manage and improve core people operations processes and documentation, ensuring workflows are clear, compliant, scalable, and employee-friendly
- Support benefits administration, employee communications, and HR systems hygiene, and coordinate effectively with external vendors and internal partners as needed
- Partner cross-functionally with payroll, finance, legal, and people operations stakeholders to ensure accurate execution of programs and compliance with internal policies and employment requirements
- Support immigration-related processes and help employees navigate applicable documentation and coordination steps
- Contribute to building a high-quality employee experience by identifying process gaps, recommending improvements, and helping implement more scalable HR practices

Glean is an intuitive digital assistant which allows employees to search across all their apps and find the information and tools that they need more quickly.
With so many SaaS apps being used by modern day companies, overwhelm and inefficiency inevitably enter the equation. Glean’s search engine is proving popular for how it unifies and centralizes all these distributed tools and data.
It’s been quite a start to life at Glean, having emerged from stealth in 2021, it received a $1B valuation in early 2022, thus achieving unicorn status. Since then, the company has gone on to raise substantial funding and bring its valuation up to $7.2B in 2025. With this impressive growth, its secured some big name customers like Grammarly, databricks, and Rubrik.
That Glean was co-founded by a quartet with senior experience at Google, Microsoft, Uber, and Facebook stands the company in good stead. However, it’s the fact that its search engine is solving a new, but very real problem in the workplace that’s seen its popularity surge so quickly, which it’s likely to continue to do in the future. And its adaptability to include new AI capabilities to its platform, such as generative AI, has Glean well set to see further growth.
