Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with at least 2 years working on No-Code/Low-Code tools or platforms
- Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or Vue.js
- Proficiency in back-end development using languages like Ruby, Node.js, or Java
- Familiarity with building user-centric design systems and intuitive interfaces
- Expert of API integrations, RESTful services, and microservices architecture
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and adapt to new challenges
- Strong communication skills and a passion for working in cross-functional teams

Desirable
- Experience building or contributing to No-Code platforms like Bubble, Retool, or similar tools
- Knowledge of identity verification processes and technologies

What the job involves
- We are seeking an innovative and highly motivated Software Development Engineer VI to spearhead the creation of a No-Code Developer Platform at ID.me, serving over 100 million members
- This platform will empower developers, product managers, and non-technical users to build, customize, and deploy workflows and integrations without writing a single line of code
- Design and develop a robust, scalable No-Code platform that allows users to build workflows, integrations, and applications easily
- Work closely with stakeholders, including product managers, UX designers, and other engineers, to define platform requirements and features
- Implement drag-and-drop interfaces, reusable components, and intuitive tools for users with varying technical expertise
- Develop integrations with ID.me’s APIs and third-party services to extend the platform’s capabilities
- Ensure the platform’s security, reliability, and performance align with ID.me’s standards
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in No-Code/Low-Code development and continuously improve the platform’s capabilities
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for seamless updates and deployments
- Provide documentation, training, and support for internal and external users of the platform
