Role
Who you are
- You’re a seasoned sales professional, with experience selling enterprise B2B SaaS technology
- You have proven success prospecting and closing new logo opportunities
- You know how to gather requirements, understand customer use cases, set proper expectations, demo platforms, and manage an enterprise sales cycle
- You possess grit, hustle, desire, and a “get-it-done” attitude; strong comfort with a lean startup environment, where everyone is encouraged to participate in and contribute across all teams
- Dedication to the creation of a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment where teammates are celebrated for their unique perspectives and work together to simplify healthcare for all
- You’re a seasoned sales professional, with 4+ years of experience successfully selling enterprise B2B SaaS technology, including managing new logo acquisitions and renewals
- You have experience managing net new business & closing complex sales-cycles, including prior success closing $250K - $1.5M deals
- Strong communication, negotiating and consultative sales skills
- You are comfortable with traveling to customers 20% of the time
What the job involves
- As an Enterprise Account Executive on our Health Plans Team, you’ll be managing your client relationships with health plan and insurance providers, to showcase the value of our platforms and partnership, and help us expand our position as the market leader
- Be responsible for both new logo acquisition and client retention by identifying potential clients, generating leads, and converting prospects into customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our clients, understanding their needs and ensuring they become H1 advocates
- Present and demonstrate company products/services to clients, addressing their unique business challenges
- Conduct market research and deploy strategic account planning skills to identify selling opportunities, staying informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions
- Develop proposals, negotiate pricing, and finalize contracts
- Drive the sales motion from outreach through close, including discovery calls to qualified leads, delivering compelling presentations/demos to showcase how H1’s solutions address client needs, managing objections, and inspiring prospects to invest in our offering
- Work closely with marketing, customer success, and product teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline progress, and revenue projections

Contrary to an increased emphasis on data privacy globally, within the healthcare industry governments are pushing for more data transparency. Additionally, the increasing costs and difficulty of drug discovery requires healthcare organizations and pharmaceutical companies to be able to quickly connect to professionals and thought leaders with specific credentials or research history. H1 addresses these needs by allowing life sciences companies, hospitals, and healthcare systems to locate the professionals they need.
H1 is the world’s largest healthcare database. It acts a bit like LinkedIn for healthcare professionals, and has already built a network of more than 9 million users. It has also built a corporate client base of 250 enterprises which is able to access its data which spans more than 250 million patients and over 10 billion health care claims.
The company graduated from Y Combinator's accelerator program in January 2020 and capped off a successful year by closing a Series B funding round that December. In 2021, H1 worked to further expand the company into Europe and Asia. Following a successful 2022 Series C round the company is focusing on building out its data network and hiring additional talent.
