Who you are
- 3-5 years experience as an analyst in a fast pace environment (e.g. consulting or a startup / scale-up)
- Strong analytical/ quantitative skills and able to cast business problems as analytical questions
- Experience working with data and strong SQL skills
- Experience with a programming language like Python or R, and dashboarding softwares such as Looker or Tableau would be beneficial
- Willingness to “get your hands dirty” and learn how to build, analyse, and maintain complex datasets
- Conviction to challenge assumptions and received wisdom
- Curiosity to learn and experiment
- Analytical, pragmatic, and tenacious character

- This autonomous and fast-paced role entails finding exciting commercial opportunities, and turning these opportunities into real business growth
- This role will initially be focused on our US business covering a wide range of tasks on credit underwriting and portfolio management
- There will be scope for rotation into other areas of the business after 6-12 months
- Using your advanced analytical skills to find growth opportunities for the US business
- Delivering on these opportunities and making a real impact to the bottom line of the business
- Driving the strategy for underwriting and portfolio management with data-driven insights
- Working closely with our data and even building your own datasets to support your analyses
- Being involved in and advising on strategic and commercial decisions as required

- Interview Process:
- First stage: 30 minute intro and values call with Talent Partner (Video call)
- Second stage: 45 minute interview with Director of Data Science (In person)
- Final stage: 30 minute interview with Chief Commercial Officer (In person ideally on the same day as the second stage)

- We have put a lot of time into developing an inclusive recruitment strategy to ensure our hiring practices are as inclusive as possible. All hiring managers have attended inclusive recruitment training and we have introduced objective skills testing.
- When speaking to teams across the company, the majority of teams felt that we are a diverse community with a huge mix of backgrounds and many people commented it was the most diverse place they’ve worked.
- Over the last year, we have started to share our own stories and experiences. Groups across the company commented how much they have enjoyed learning from each other and educating ourselves on different areas of diversity. We have recently rolled out Management on Tap training sessions with the aim to support our managers to feel confident to support their team in the best way possible.
