Who you are

Experience: Senior with 7+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with a proven track record in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure in AWS or Azure,
Version Control: Extensive experience using GitHub/BitBucket for source control and development workflows
CI/CD: Expertise in CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, and Jenkins
Version Control & Tagging: Implement version tagging and automated version control strategies
Artifact Management: Manage build artifacts, version metadata, and package delivery
Automation: Automate build environment setup and facilitate version-tagged build artifact generation
Release & Storage Strategies: Establish artifact storage and release versioning strategies (e.g., tagging, changelogs, semantic versioning)
Documentation: Document build and deployment processes in Confluence
Scripting: Utilize scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python) for automation and tooling
Cloud & Infrastructure, Iac, e.g. AWS, Azure, terraform, etc
Excellent problem-solving abilities to tackle complex issues and think strategically
Adaptability to learn new tools and methodologies in the ever-evolving tech landscape
Collaboration and teamwork skills for working smoothly with development, operations, and IT teams
Attention to detail to ensure system stability and high-quality deliverables by identifying potential issues early
Independent Work and Ownership: Manage multiple tasks with minimal direction, continually improving processes. Mentor others inside Modus and our clients team

Desirable

PowerBuilder Modernization: Prior experience modernizing PowerBuilder-based applications or working with Oracle-backed systems
IBM Rational Synergy: Experience with IBM Rational Synergy
GitHub certification
