Our take
The circular economy market is predicted to grow exponentially over the coming decades and reach a global valuation of $7.9 trillion by 2050. As materials become scarcer and more effort is put into reducing global waste, it is unsurprising that tech startups are laying the foundations for software that aids the transition.
Veliu is on a mission to create a fintech platform for the circular economy. The company itself is still in stealth mode so information on what this platform will entail is scarce. However, with a founding team behind it that has experience launching successful startups and leading successful funding rounds, it’ll be interesting to see what Veliu entails when it emerges.
