Who you are
- 10+ years of experience in a creative leadership role within the digital media, entertainment, or gaming industries
- A proven track record of delivering high-quality creative work that drives engagement and resonates with global audiences
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cross-disciplinary teams through all stages of the creative process
- Expertise in interactive design, digital storytelling, and immersive experiences, with an understanding of emerging trends in creative technology
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to express creative concepts and encourage both internal teams and external partners
- A passion for innovation, storytelling, and pushing the creative boundaries of what’s possible in immersive media
What the job involves
- We are looking for an innovative Creative Director to spearhead the development of interactive experiences that push the boundaries of storytelling. As the Creative Director, you will lead internal and external creatives and collaborate with cross-functional partners to craft the direction of projects. Your creative leadership will set the tone for projects that not only captivate audiences but also align with the strategic goals of both our studio and our brand partners
- Define and communicate the overarching creative direction for immersive experiences, ensuring alignment with brand goals and the strategic objectives of Partner Innovation Studio
- Lead and inspire internal and external creatives, to deliver world-class experiences that engage and inspire diverse audiences
- Develop compelling narratives and visual strategies that resonate with global brands and their audiences, translating brand identities into dynamic, interactive experiences
- Work closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of creative vision with technical execution, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in interactive design on Roblox
- Serve as the creative lead in Partner meetings and presentations, articulating concepts and ideas clearly while addressing feedback to evolve the creative vision in collaboration with stakeholders
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to continually elevate the quality and impact of our work, positioning the studio as an innovator in the interactive and immersive space
- Ensure creative consistency and excellence across all deliverables, from concept to final execution, maintaining the highest standards of design, storytelling, and audience engagement

While online gaming is no longer a revolutionary concept, Roblox has established itself as a leader in the industry by creating a gaming toolbox that encourages quality game creation, which it pays developers for.
In addition to standard games, the platform offers virtual worlds and other experiences to explore and interact with. Its platform provides an online ecosystem for millions to create, socialize, chat, and explore immersive experiences with friends. In fact, in the US its used by two-thirds of children aged 9 to 12.
The experiences on the platform are made by Roblox's over three million creators, and are available on a range of devices from PC to Xbox to Oculus, and more. The company has grown at an impressive rate, and has been keen to adopt new developments in the tech world, for example with its real-time AI translation for players to interact outside their native tongue.
