Who you are
- If you have a passion for analytics and reporting, creating engaging content, and experience with HubSpot, social media, and WordPress, we want to hear from you!
- 1-2 years of content marketing experience in either an agency or on an in-house team or relevant internship experience with a B2B company
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, creative advertising, communications, or a related field
- Experience with content creation and social media management
- Familiarity with HubSpot, including content management and marketing automation, would be an asset
- Proficient in WordPress for website content management is also an asset
- Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
What the job involves
- We are redefining what an in-house agency is and are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join the Herd
- As a key contributor, you would be pivotal in managing our digital presence, crafting compelling content, and contributing to our overall digital marketing strategy for our Domains Services’ line of business
- The role involves collaborating with marketing team members and peers across the business, including sales, product management, business owners, and partners, to deliver quality digital content
- Monitor and analyze content performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics and HubSpot
- Provide regular reports on content effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations
- Liaise with the internal communications team to determine when to share news, updates, and events impacting the Tucows Domains Services’ line of business on the team Slack channel
- Plan, create, and manage social media posts across platforms to increase brand visibility and engagement
- Monitor social media trends and implement strategies to maximize reach
- Write and assemble newsletter features to be sent through Hubspot
- Manage and update content on the company website using WordPress
- Ensure website content is SEO-friendly and aligns with current industry best practices
