Staff Analytics Engineer, Lime

• The ideal candidate brings deep experience architecting governed reporting systems using dbt and establishing the technical standards for accuracy, repeatability, and transparency
• 9+ years of experience in analytics engineering or data warehousing, with a proven track record of designing data architectures that have scaled with a company's hyper-growth
• Deep expertise in dbt Core internals (macros, custom materializations, package management) and a philosophy on how to structure large-scale dbt projects for performance and maintainability
• You understand the complexity of managerial reporting. You are an expert at modeling concepts like Contribution Margin, Cohort Retention, and Utilization Rates, and you know how to translate these business concepts into immutable code
• Demonstrated ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders at the Director/VP level, often navigating conflicting requirements to reach the best long-term technical solution

• You will report to Lime’s leader of Analytics Engineering & BI
• While this role sits within the central data team, you will act as the principal architect for our management reporting warehouse
• You will partner with Finance leadership to design systems that operate with the highest levels of governance, ensuring our business performance data can withstand rigorous external audits

• Enforce strict data governance best practices, including comprehensive documentation and automated data quality validation to support audit requirements
• Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to ensure analytics solutions are robust enough to support month-end close, quarterly business reviews, and board-level reporting
