Role
Who you are
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Ability and interest to go deep, fast, in understanding what our platform does, and how specifically it drives value to our brand partners
- Be able to translate the strategies retail brands communicate publicly and the feedback they deliver us into actionable guidance for our own platform and customer teams
- Proven track record of collaborating with senior stakeholders in product management, sales, and customer success teams
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights
- 7+ years of experience in product marketing or a related field, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing product positioning and messaging strategies that drive customer acquisition and retention
- Experience with marketing experimentation and optimization, including A/B testing, segmentation, and targeting
- Direct experience using data and analytics to communicate business and strategic value to executive stakeholders
What the job involves
- Ensure our entire company has a clear understanding of the job requirements of our core retail stakeholders, their desires and priorities, the pains they feel associated with achieving those priorities, and the value received by these stakeholders from using MakerSights
- Define and own the market-facing voice of MakerSights via our messaging frameworks and associated content; own, manage and amplify the central library of content shared across our teams
- Working with MakerSights functional leaders to ensure their teams are effectively enabled against this messaging
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to provide guidance on messaging approaches for key stakeholder types and support content generation/execution for each stage of the sales process
- Support customer success teams with enabling content for key customer interactions (QBRs, upsells, resells)
- Ensure new platform and service capabilities are positioned in a way that resonates with end stakeholders and is consistent with overarching MakerSights messaging framework
- Continually improve core framing and associated content based on market learnings (feedback from customers, framing that drives conversion, impact learnings from our brands)
- Lead the collection of impact stories from our customers, and bring them to life via specific case studies
- Ensure that teams across our organization understand the impact we’ve delivered and can, as appropriate, incorporate it into their work
