Who you are
- You’re the ideal candidate for this role if you’re, driven, creative, fun, analytical, critical-thinking, solution-driven, curious about the latest trends in AI & Engineering Intelligence, and have a knack for Marketing
- Bonus points if you enjoy Formula 1, puzzles, karaoke, and/or cats
- Professional experience: you have 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS Product Marketing or Sales Enablement roles
- Industry knowledge: previous experience in the AI, Automotive and Manufacturing industries is a huge plus
- Linguistic abilities: you have native-level German and excellent English language skills – especially written
- Communication & storytelling: you’re an excellent communicator with the ability to distill complex technical concepts and larger narratives into simple key messages
- Customer-centricity: you have proven experience with customer journey mapping, persona development, and customer-centric marketing approaches
- Project management & strategy: you have excellent project management skills and the ability to oversee marketing campaigns and initiatives with strategic, conceptual thinking
- Cross-functional leadership: you have strong leadership and collaboration skills, and you’re comfortable working with lots of different teams inside and outside of SPREAD
- Team contribution: you’re solution-oriented, creative, analytical, and bring a high level of ownership to your projects

What the job involves
- We’re looking for an experienced Product Marketing Lead, B2B SaaS to drive the growth of SPREAD’s products in our target industries
- You’ll be part of the small-but-mighty Marketing team, creating valuable, high-impact messaging, educating the market, and positioning SPREAD in front of our target audience of Systems Engineers and Automotive Tech leaders
- As Product Marketing Manager, your goal will be to position our products for our audience and help SPREAD generate more revenue
- Create compelling product marketing strategies: you’ll develop clear and resonant positioning and messaging that addresses the needs of our target customers. Continuously iterate on messaging through A/B testing to optimize conversion across our sales segments
- Define & research target audience segments: you will collaborate with our Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to define, analyze, and iterate on Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP) for each of our products
- Manage Sales Enablement content: you’ll produce & maintain high-quality sales enablement content, starting with our pitch decks, landing pages, onepagers, demo videos, and any other materials tailored to different customer segments and geographies
- This includes videos, case studies, best practice articles, email sequences, scripts, and more
- Thought leadership & community building: you will develop thought leadership content such as whitepapers, webinars, and blog posts, and foster an engaging community of user champions through forums, user groups, and social media platforms
- Event presence & customer advocacy: you’ll represent SPREAD at industry conferences and trade shows, and work with key customers to develop case studies, testimonials, and customer success stories
- Analyze & optimize: you will collect and analyze insights from our customer journey and leverage this information to refine ICP definitions and product marketing strategies
- Optimize our performance by monitoring and analyzing keywords & performance metrics to inform future growth strategies
- Stay competitive: you keep up with the latest developments in the AI, Automotive, and Systems Engineering spaces, as well as B2B SaaS best practices to ensure SPREAD remains competitive in the market
- Collaborate across teams: you work closely with Leadership, Marketing, Sales, Customer Value, and Product teams to maximize the volume of Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and cultivate Customer Champions
Our take
The complexity of modern products, as well as the associated manufacturing processes, has increased over the past few decades. This growing complexity introduces three major challenges for engineers creating complex products. Firstly, the process is often inefficient, with engineers spending large amounts of time on non-productive things like coordination meetings. Secondly, information in this area is often difficult to find: engineers commonly spend around a quarter of their time searching for product information. Thirdly, creating cross-departmental understanding is often highly challenging. In short, things need to get better.
This is where SPREAD AI comes in. Its software streamlines the product design process at all stages, from providing access to part or component information to suggesting how a product can be assembled and even repaired. These high-level product insights aim to increase efficiency in the design process.
SPREAD AI has generated a lot of interest with a customer base including major manufacturers such as Audi, Ford, Miele and Porsche. This has led to the startup raising a significant amount of funding which it intends to use for early product development and growth.
