What the job involves

Groq's Summer Internship Program runs from May - September and is full-time during the duration of the internship
An internship with the Information Technology group at Groq offers several opportunities, from those who want to work in Systems Administration to Application Development
In IT, we strive for as much automation as possible for our internal tools and for external connections, and we have several projects as well as ad hoc activities to keep us occupied
Support Groq’s diverse IT needs, from laptop provisioning/logistics, onboarding/offboarding automation, systems administration to on-demand troubleshooting of issues
Help support Linux, macOS and Windows systems as they integrate with our Identity Management and Configuration Management tools
Work closely with Information Security to maintain a secure environment
Develop and maintain familiarity with GCP services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Storage
Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams
Potential Project: Develop a web application for tracking staff lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, equipment shipments/swaps/returns)
Potential Project: Migration of existing Salt infrastructure to Ansible
Potential Project: Automation of equipment provisioning and reporting with our Logistics partner
